What we do for youHow we do it
Health and safety

We take health and safety seriously and have a clear aim that all our projects are accident free. We require that all our staff at Fisher Tomlin have passed CSCS operative tests and/or the equivalent ROLO landscape tests.

We aim to provide adequate control of the health and safety risks arising from our work activities and consult with our employees, consultants and contractors on matters affecting their health and safety.

On site it is vital that our contractors provide and maintain safe plant and equipment; ensure safe handling and use of substances; provide information, instruction and supervision for employees, consultants and contractors and ensure all employees, consultants and contractors are competent to do their tasks, and given adequate training. They must always aim to prevent accidents and cases of work- related ill health; maintain safe and healthy working conditions; and review and revise this policy as necessary at regular intervals.

.

We require our contractors undertake a full health and safety briefing of each person working on your project on their first day on site. It is also important that our customers understand that the installation of their new landscape is a construction site and that they understand the risks involved and ensure that they are responsible not just for their own safety but also for children and animals.
